High quality and heavy duty Featheredge panels that benefit from a heavy duty redwood frame which features:

  • Rebated 100mm x 47mm (4×2) top rail to make the construction very strong with integral capping.
  • Robust 75mm x 22mm (3×1) intermediate rails for full strength across the panel.
  • Rebated 100mm x 47mm (4×2) bottom rail to help prevent ingress of moisture being drawn up through the featheredge boards.
  • UC3 Pressure Treated for added durability.
  • Ideal for privacy, security and adding an attractive neat boundary.

Description

The integral capping on our Heavy Duty Featheredge Panels protects the featheredge boards which have the following features:

  • 50mm x 25mm (2×1) batten each side to ensure snug fit into Slotted H Posts, timber or concrete as well as giving a framed effect to the panel.
  • Whitewood Feather edged boards ex 125mm x 22mm to give consistency of colour.
  • 25mm overlap to ensure robust construction.
  • End board is ex 100mm x 22mm (4×1) to give uniformity of exposed board face across the panel.

The versatile design of the Heavy Duty Featheredge Panels mean they can be screwed onto timber fence posts for maximum strength. Likewise, they can be used with concrete posts or fixed in between wooden posts.

We deliver within a 30 mile radius from our location near Frome, Somerset.

1) Kerbside drop only, delivery will be made to the nearest drop-off point to the front of the property. 2) Customers do not need to be there to accept delivery providing there is a safe and/or secure location for our drivers to leave goods, however if this is not the case  they will be returned to our yard and a second chargeable delivery will be arranged. 3) Our drivers cannot enter a customer’s house/property due to risk of damage to the property and/or contents. 4) We cannot leave goods on the highway or pavement. 5) Under no circumstances can a retail customer/member of the public assist in the unloading of any of our vehicles. Contractors assisting unloading should be aware of health and safety issues and must wear appropriate PPE. If the driver deems that they cannot accept this assistance for safety reasons, they will return to the yard and arrange to deliver again with a driver’s mate. Additional delivery charge plus driver’s rate charges will apply. 6) Under no circumstances are customers, trade or retail, allowed on the vehicle beds. 7) It is the customers responsibility to inform us of any access restrictions at time of ordering. Failure to do so may result in an abandoned delivery attempt in which case goods will be returned to our yard and a second chargeable delivery will be arranged. 8) In all instances AJ Charlton and Sons Ltd reserve the right to change the delivery vehicles and/or times without notice. 9) Delivery can be anytime from 7.30am on the agreed upon day. 10) The day of delivery is subject to change without notice and AJ Charlton and Sons Ltd will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss for failure to deliver on the agreed upon day.
