We deliver within a 30 mile radius from our location near Frome, Somerset.

1) Kerbside drop only, delivery will be made to the nearest drop-off point to the front of the property. 2) Customers do not need to be there to accept delivery providing there is a safe and/or secure location for our drivers to leave goods, however if this is not the case  they will be returned to our yard and a second chargeable delivery will be arranged. 3) Our drivers cannot enter a customer’s house/property due to risk of damage to the property and/or contents. 4) We cannot leave goods on the highway or pavement. 5) Under no circumstances can a retail customer/member of the public assist in the unloading of any of our vehicles. Contractors assisting unloading should be aware of health and safety issues and must wear appropriate PPE. If the driver deems that they cannot accept this assistance for safety reasons, they will return to the yard and arrange to deliver again with a driver’s mate. Additional delivery charge plus driver’s rate charges will apply. 6) Under no circumstances are customers, trade or retail, allowed on the vehicle beds. 7) It is the customers responsibility to inform us of any access restrictions at time of ordering. Failure to do so may result in an abandoned delivery attempt in which case goods will be returned to our yard and a second chargeable delivery will be arranged. 8) In all instances AJ Charlton and Sons Ltd reserve the right to change the delivery vehicles and/or times without notice. 9) Delivery can be anytime from 7.30am on the agreed upon day. 10) The day of delivery is subject to change without notice and AJ Charlton and Sons Ltd will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss for failure to deliver on the agreed upon day.
